His story:
Niña Luisita is born under the name of Pofi. This is what it was called at the time of its launching in 1932, a project that was born as an auxiliary schooner.
Built and designed by the prestigious shipowner Vincenzo Baglietto for his client Count Bruzzo, who would take care of it until 1971.
After three long years, my father Count Tagliaferri manages to buy it.
Finally, in 1971, Pofi became Niña Luisita, where she began a family trip sailing and exploring the Mediterranean to its deepest entrails.
hidden.
In 1988 Niña Luisita returned to the shipyard where she was born to carry out a restoration, on that occasion several of the
craftsmen who had participated sixty years earlier in its construction. The restoration is comprehensive, they are served from its large deck to the most
minimum details, being absolutely faithful to the original spirit of the 30's.
In 2006 a second restyling is undertaken, this time in the CRIE shipyard (Cooperativa per il restauro d'imbarcazioni d'epoca) where the old Perkins engine is replaced by a much more modern and powerful one. The entire electrical and hydraulic system has also been renewed. Its character of comfort is reinforced making it more modern but maintaining as always the tradition and spirit of its time.
